Hello, my name is Raihana Nurfayza Iswari (Raihana) and this is Prita Nadira Bayutomo (Prita). We are from 6 Khalid Bin Walid. On February 25th, 2025, 6 Ali Bin Abi Thalib and 6 Khalid Bin Walid went to Mulligans Bistro in Bogor by Big Bird bus. Before starting the activities at Mulligans Bistro, all the students and teachers took a picture together.

We had a kitchen tour, a cooking class, and a table manners lesson there. During the kitchen tour, the chef showed us the various appliances, such as the microwave, oven, freezer, chiller, and many others.  Wow, amazing!  This is the first time I've seen the appliances in a restaurant kitchen!  The chef taught us the differences between a microwave and an oven, as well as the temperature differences between a freezer and a chiller.

In the cooking class the Chef taught us how to make Cordon Bleu and Mini Burgers. We learned about how to assemble the Mini Burgers correctly.  When we finished, I asked the Chef "Is that all, sir?" and thought, "Wow, that's so simple!” I love cooking these foods!

During the table manners lesson, the Chefs taught us about appetizers, main courses, and desserts, as well as the proper use of cutlery, how to hold a teacup correctly, and how to serve as a waiter or waitress. In that session, I showed my friend how to hold a teacup correctly, and I was right! Yay! I also had the opportunity to be a waitress. The staff explained that when serving food, you must approach the customer from the right, and when pouring water, you should use both hands. They also taught us about the different types of spoons and forks, such as soup spoons (for soup and dessert) and dessert forks (specifically for desserts), and, of course, knives for cutting food.

The final activity of our mini-trip was lunch, which included Mini Burgers as an appetizer, Butter Rice and Cordon Bleu as the main course, and Red Bean Ice for dessert.

After the trip, on our way back to school, we stopped at Tazkia Mosque for Zuhur prayer.

We enjoyed this mini-trip. It provided us with new insights, especially about proper table manners. I rate this mini-trip a 9 out of 10 stars! Thank you very much to the chef and staff of Mulligans Bistro, and also to our teachers for bringing us to this beautiful, aesthetic, and fancy restaurant!
